Artist of the Month
January 2010
Toni Bigelow
Toni Bigelow has been an artist since her early childhood.  Her study of Sumi-e ink brush painting in Tokyo Japan in her early teens led her to a life-long career of artistic exploration.  Learning new art techniques and styles have been easy for Toni B as she learned oil painting, acrylic painting, mixed media and other painting techniques.  Not satisfied with one art style, she branched out to pottery and sculpture where she has created many unique pieces.

A firm believer in "to teach is to learn", Toni B has devoted a good share of her adult life teaching others.  She has taught art in Kingman public schools and Mohave Community College for the last twenty years.

Toni's art work is well recognized.  She has received numerous art ribbons and awards over the past fourty years.  She has been an award winner at the Mohave County Fair for the last twenty years.  Artist- Educator- Patron of the Arts, Tony B's works of art are a must to see.
